I am an American working with Save the Children International team member working with Salvati Copiii to support Ukrainian refugees. I am inspired by the passion of my Salvati Copiii colleagues and their dedication to improving the lives of children. The funds raised will be used to equip the Clinical Department of Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive Microsurgery and Burns of the Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital with high-performance equipment necessary. It is the only clinic in Romania that cares for cases of children who have more than 20% of their body surface burned. The medical team saves the lives of over 6,000 children a year. I’m excited to join my Romanian colleagues in working to improve the lives of children!
